Third International Week for Teaching and Non-Teaching Staf at METU
This spring Budapest Metropolitan University hosts its third International Week taking place from 26 to 29 March 2018.
The theme, Creative Industries aims to reflect on two major issues: the role of the education industry as related to the concepts of creative economy and cultural industries as well as the ways higher education institutions might facilitate creative thinking thus generating knowledge and information with the additional aim of providing better services and experiences for students. METU aims to bring teaching and non-teaching professionals together by offering a platform to discuss key challenges, exchange ideas and share best practices related to the above topics in addition to offering a great opportunity to network and discover potential ways of future cooperation with old and new partner institutions.
We are expecting about 26 guests and more than 30 students from institutions across Europe, Asia and South America who are going to participate in or give lectures and workshops at both campuses in the fields of art, marketing, tourism, media and business including a roundtable discussion on internationalization and a three-day-long workshop entitled Imagine Square held by Hanze University Minerva Academy of Pop Culture, Leeuwarden, The Netherlands and Budapest Metropolitan University focusing on sustainable society and open, changeable, creative space.
