Hanafuda − redesign
Supervisor
Andrea Brittnek
Hanafuda is a traditional japanise card game. Its name − flower card − comes from the illustrations shown on the cards. All of these are dominant symbols of the months in the Japanese culture. The deck consists of 48 cards which can be separated to 12 smaller sets based on the months they represent. During the redesign process I used my style and my unique vision, while I preserved the original elements and their symbolism.
