Plants unbound
My diploma work bears the title of Plants Unbound, a series of ink paintings depicting plants, made after photographs of dried and pressed flora. The nine pictures represent the whole work itself, just like the pressed plants of a herbarium. I was inspired by Chinese and Japanese ink landscape art and the flora of herbariums.
