The series called PL_akátok - Polish Poster Art has been organized for ten years together with the Polish Institute in Budapest. As part of the project, art teachers from different cities and universities are invited every year. This year, Ola Niepsuj, an illustrator from Warsaw, will be our guest graphic artist. She is one of the most talented young Polish graphic artists. In addition to the exhibition on display at the Platan Gallery at the Polish Institute, Ola also organizes an intensive workshop for first-year students of the Graphic Design BA program at METU's Rózsa Street campus. Following the exhibition opening, the artist will give a presentation in the cinema hall.

At the Platan Gallery, the audience will see a selection of cultural posters from Ola Niepsuj. In this series on Polish poster art, every year we wish to present the latest stories of the World-famous Polish poster art. Ola is designing posters, corporate identity and infographics, combining traditional techniques with digital drawing, she creates eclectic collages. She has worked for the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Nike, Converse, Taschen, Thames and Hudson, HBO, Showmax, Ikea, Apple, Melissa and Skanska. She is a student at the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź.
