Visa pour l’Image, held in Perpignan, France, is the first international festival of photojournalism in the world. For the last 30 years, thanks to Visa pour l’Image, Perpignan has become the unquestioned international capital of photojournalism.

3.000 professionals from all over the world - photojournalists and international news agencies representing more than 64 countries-, as well as 200 000 visitors, attended the festival.

The program was not only about studying and getting to know other institutions but also about visiting exhibitions and meeting photographers.

The participating institutions were:

·       Institut d’Estudis fotogràfics de Catalunya (IEFC), Barcelona, Spain

·       University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Hanover, Germany

·       Budapest Metropolitan University, Budapest, Hungary

·       EFTI Centro international de Fotografía y Cine, Madrid, Spain

Accoring to the Audience, both the presentations of Professor Révész and the presentations of METU students works made of photos taken in Perpignan were very well received.
