Real-life practice: METU students make debut with the fashion brand of our alumna
The alumna of our Fashion and Textile Design MA program, Alexandra Kálomista-Könczöl graduated at Budapest Metropolitan University in 2017.
Alexandra has always been an outstanding student. During her university years, she became the winner of the OMDK in the Craft section with her experiments of adapting clothes to body shapes. After graduating, she founded the fashion brand of Nagea, which offers unique, comfortable, modern and sustainable clothing designed for different body shapes.
After founding Nagea, Alexandra launched her own mentor program with the goal of supporting the debut of young fashion designers at the start of their careers.
The creations of the Nagea fashion brand will be displayed at the exclusive fashion show dubbed ‘Inspiring Women’, which will be held in the winter garden of the Thália Theater. Through the mentor program of Nagea, the works of METU alumna Réka Szép and master’s student Enikő Pataki will also be presented to the audience.
More information about the event can be found here.
The mentor program of Nagea will also continue from October.
